The purpose of the Free Range Co-Op is to reward women financially and create a professional competition to raise the quality of diverse writing and art to new heights. Please submit your piece to submissions@freerangewords.com and pay in for your lifetime subscription to our breathtaking journal. The more subscriptions, the more we can pay our writers and artists. If you wish to submit via snail-mail (please be considerate of the environment), please contact us for specific directions.
Here are the guidelines:
Payment correlating to your single submission must be received before a sub-
mission is judged (please click on the link below for secure payment via PayPal). Your $15 fee will provide you with a lifetime subscription to the journal, as well as an opportunity to submit your piece for publication.
You may submit 1 piece of writing (all genres, not exceeding 4,000 words.
Excerpts are accepted, but will be judged as stand-alone pieces), up to 10
images (photography, drawing, print, painting are all ok. Please be sure your
jpegs are good quality), 1 sound piece (with a literary basis, not to exceed 4
minutes), or 1 video piece (performance-based, not to exceed 20MBs).
